Last year California passed the Racial Justice Act to confront the racism that has long impacted our communities and our criminal legal system. We are reaching out for your help. We are working to ensure the Act does not exist in name only. To maximize the impact of the Racial Justice Act, we are gathering data and community stories that illustrate the ways in which discrimination leads to the unfair treatment of those who are Black, Brown, Native, Indigenous and people of color. Because of your organization’s commitment to supporting and organizing with impacted communities, we are requesting your help.
