Vision Act Rally & Letter Delivery to Governor Newsom

Toward the end, we will march a few minutes to the Capitol Annex Swing Space (1021 O Street, Sacramento) to deliver the letter.

Background: Over 120 community members impacted by ICE transfers and their loved ones have signed a letter to Governor Newsom urging him to support the VISION Act and to meet with a small group of directly impacted community members to discuss the bill.
On June 21st, we will gather for a VISION Act rally and deliver the letter to Governor Newsom. Our goals are: 1) to highlight Californians impacted and devastated by ICE transfers, 2) to show that immigrants and refugees can successfully reenter the community and thrive after completing their sentences, and 3) to secure a meeting with the Governor’s office on the VISION Act.
